Significance of Laksharchana to Sri Lalithambika, Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva.

After completion of the first phase of Eradication of Terrorism and negative energies from the universe by conducting a year long puja, homam, abhishekam, archanas, anna dhaanam, vastra dhaanam, etc at various places around the country and abroad, Shri Guru Maharaj (Shri PS Varadarajan) has received directions from Goddess Parashakti to take up the second phase of providing wealth and prosperity to the universe and removal of human sufferings to conduct 44 Laksharchana each to Goddess Lalithambika, Lord Maha Vishnu and Lord Shiva at various places around the world.

All of us have our desires and needs and we offer prayer to various Gods and Goddesses to provide us health, wealth and prosperity. Various factors govern the destiny and our well being is based on karma and other factors like the deeds of our forefathers, the pujas and offerings we made to God, the sins we committed. It is our deeds (Karma) in this Janma which can reduce the malefic effects and offering prayers to gods and goddesses can reduce even remove the dosha of our previous births.

Goddess Lalithambika an incarnation of Goddess Parashakti is provider of health , wealth, prosperity and all the worldly pleasures which one may desire and grants all boons to her devotees and is pleased by stuti i.e. prayer and praise. It is written in scriptures that in Kaliyuga, bhakti is the only source of hope for all human beings wherein offerings to almighty in the form of Puja, Archanas, Abhishekam, homam (havan), etc can bring an end to all miseries and bring prosperity to everyone.Similarly, prayers to Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva can remove all the malefic effects of our previous births and sins committed by us or by our forefathers or any of our ancestors.

We request you come forward to conduct Laksharchana to all the three i.e. Lalithambika, Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu in your area, City, town, Village, etc to bring prosperity all around the country and the universe.

Shri Gurubhyo Namaha

Guru Maharaj ji has come back from Kamakhya Shakti Peeth after successful completion of the task which had been directed by the divine powers Guru Maharaj ji performed a thanks giving puja and abhishekam to Goddess Parashakti at Parashakti Peetham near Thirukutralam in Tamil Nadu, India. As per the first indications that has come to him The Global terrorism would fully subside within 924 days (from 26th March 2008) and more than 95 per cent would have a change of heart and join with the moderates and come into the main stream. The balance five percent would be eliminated. When he asked the divine forces what was the next command for him he was directed to conduct 44 Laksharchanas each to Goddess Lalithambika, Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu for removal of sufferings of the mankind and bring prosperity, happiness, health and wealth to the people of the universe. He has already started performing these laksharchanas and as per his directions we are also organising functions all around the country and abroad for make maximum people benefit from these laksharchanas.

During our daily discussions over the phone as usual I keep on asking for clarification of many things and here are some excerpts:

Me : Guruji, people always refer about seven Janmas? Why seven ?

Guru Maharaj Ji: A soul has to lead his according its karma and if it had done more punya karma it gets a prosperous life and vice versa. One soul gets seven chances to wipe out all its karma doshas and acquire maximum Punya karma so as to enable the soul from free itself from this vicious circle.

Me : How can one acquire maximum Punya karma?

Guru Maharaj ji : Very Simple, be pure in your all activities , by your heart, your body, your soul, your deeds, your mind, etc and always work for the welfare of others and your problems will be automatically taken care by the almighty. Like pardon , remission is granted to people under the law of the land, almighty too grants you remissions and pardons your karma doshas of all previous births and even the doshas done by your ancestors.

Me : How does the Karma dosha come?

Guru Maharaj ji : Whenever you envy others, deny them their rights, hurt them verbally, physically, mentally or otherwise, show your anger, misuse your power, position, etc , blame others, do not share your possession, wealth, food, etc with others or stop others from helping some one the list can go on and on…

Me : That means , either knowingly or unknowingly we commit so may doshas daily and by the end of it if we do not do Punya Karma these doshas are carried forward to next birth or Janma where the karma dosha of that particular family or ancestors too adds up to it.

Guru Maharaj ji : Definitely, now you are beginning to understand. So one has to be very careful not to acquire any dosha and always try to do good deeds.

Me : Guru ji please tell me few simple ways by which we could acquire Punya bala (Power) easily without having to much effort in today’s fast paced world.

G.M. : Simple, start your day with a prayer to the almighty that your day may be good , then if your parents are alive seek their blessings, after finishing your morning chores and bath seek the blessing of your kula devata i.e. family deity to remove all your karma dosha and give you enough strength to do punya karma and help needy people, others and continue your daily schedule avoiding any negative feelings for others,

Me : Indeed that sounds simple, I ‘ll give it a try and ask others to do it.

GM : OK you have asked enough questions. Let’s get on with our work.

What is God?

What is God?

The omnipotent omnipresent power controlling / guiding an atom and also the universe and also the power which is exists in each and every living being is the god.

What is the size, shape, colour, etc. of god?

There is no size, shape, or colour for god. It is for the sake of common man we make the pictures. Like we make a shape or image of globe for teaching about the earth.

Does the god have the names?

The god does not have any name. For quick memory and recollection we call different names to different natural phenomenon. After all nature is the direct manifestation of god and that it is god.

Why do we give so many names to god?

Each name has a meaning. The names convey a great meaning so we give the names. Lekshmi means glory and prosperity. Saraswati means the one which is flowing. Parvathy means the torrential force or energy. Ganesha means the one which is controlling everything in group. Krishna means black and attracting. Rama means which gives you happiness. And so on

Can we see god with our naked eyes?

Unless you reach that level it is impossible to see even seeing through inner eyes. Many things which we cannot see exist like atoms, electrons, air, billions and billions of galaxies.

Why to worship god?

It is not necessary if you feel it is not worth. To know that human beings have limitations and what all taking place in the world are almost beyond the control of human brain, we have to know that divine power. For knowing that divine power we should remember it frequently. For this purpose we are using the method worship.

Will the god get angry if we are not worshipping?

The god is not bothered about anything like you worship or criticize. God is not bothered about your offering of flower, nivedyam, lamp, manthra, pooja or visit to the temple. The worship of the god, prayer, manthra, pooja, etc., are all for ourselves.

What is the relation between the god and human beings?

Since we got birth on this earth from our parents, our relation with our parents is divine. Like that we are here because of the god, the omnipotent omnipresent power which gave us this shape size, and all what is inside and outside our body. So our relation with god is divine. It is just like human relation, we have relation with god or divine power.

A word from Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam

You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed country; it is indeed a highly developed nation. Do you have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance.

YOU say that our government is inefficient. Our laws are too old.

The municipality does not pick up the garbage. The phones don't work. The railways are a joke. The airline is the worst in the world Mails never reach their destination. Our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.

YOU say, say and say. But what do YOU do about it?

Take a person on his way to Singapore.

Give him a name? - YOURS.

Give him a face? - YOURS.

YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International best. In Singapore you don't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores. YOU are as proud of their Underground Links as they are. You pay $5 (approx. Rs.60) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim Causeway or Peddar Road) between 5 PM and 8 PM. YOU comeback to the parking lot to punch your parking ticket if you have over-stayed, in a restaurant or shopping mall irrespective of your status identity.

In Singapore you don't say anything, DO YOU?

YOU wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai. YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered in Jeddah. YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at £10 (Rs.650) a month to, "see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else." YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, "Jaanta hai main kaun hoon? (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost." YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand. Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo? Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston?????

We are still talking of the same YOU.

India Sixty – Vision & Mission A project by Indian Institute of Scientific Heritage Page 8 of 14 YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will throw papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground. If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India? Once in an interview, the famous Ex-municipal Commissioner of Bombay, Mr. Tinaikar, had a point to make. "Rich people’s dogs are walked on the streets to leave their affluent droppings all over the place," he said. "And then the same people turn around to criticize and blame the authorities for inefficiency and dirty pavements. What do they expect the officers to do? Go down with a broom every time their dog feels the pressure in his bowels? In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job. Same in Japan. Will the Indian citizen do that here?” He's right. We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility. We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin. We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms. We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity. This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public. When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse? "It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my son's rights to a dowry." So who's going to change the system? What does a system consist of? Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government. But definitely not me and YOU. When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr. Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away. Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system. When New York becomes insecure we run to England. When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf. When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by Indian government. Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country. Nobody thinks of feeding the system. Our conscience is mortgaged to money. Dear Indians, this is highly thought inductive, calls for a great deal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too…

I am echoing J.F. Kennedy's words to his fellow American to relate to Indians?

"ASK WHAT WE CAN DO FOR INDIA AND DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO MAKE INDIA WHAT AMERICA AND OTHER WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE TODAY"

Let's do what India needs from us. Forward this mail to each Indian for a change instead of sending Jokes or junk mails.

Thank You,

Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam

Said Lord Supreme:

"He is the real renouncer of the world who does his work without desiring for the fruits of his actions, certainly not the one who renounces actions or worships the sacred fire."

[Chapter 6 verse 1] Bhagawat Gita

This is a few pages Taken from the book Arise ARJUNA - Hinduism and the Modern World by Dr. David Frawley (An American).

I am doing this especially for the people who only believe the words of Europeans and Americans. I am very sad to say the previous line, because we don’t know about our culture, and we are not ready to listen the words of Great Indians like Gopala Krishna Gokale, Acharya Arabindo, Vivekananda, etc.... We are not agreeing their knowledge about our history and culture. We are not considering them as a historians; we are just studying and teaching the theories created by the Europeans. Now days they are ready to admit their mistakes, but we Indians are not ready to allow that. We are telling that you Europeans were right. This book is an example for that…

The Aryan Invasion of India: Questioned in the Western Textbooks 17

According to the Aryan Invasion Theory-which is the basis of interpreting the ancient history of India found in most books today the Vedic people were barbarian hordes who overran North India after 1500 BC. They destroyed the more advanced Dravidian civilization of the subcontinent, which is evidenced by the ruins of the Harappan or Indus civilization. This theory is diametrically opposed to the traditional Hindu view of Vedic culture which regards it as indigenous from India, arising on the Sarasvati River west of Delhi, and sees it as a culture of great spirituality ruled by seers and yogis. The invasion idea was invented by nineteenth century European thinkers, and was mixed with colonial and missionary policies. It was always questioned by Hindus, including great thinkers like Sri Aurobindo, Vivekananda. B.G.Tilak and Dayananda Sarasvati. It had no basis in the extensive. Vedic and Puranic literature which speaks of no outside origin for the Vedic people. Yet owing to the European intellectual domination of the world, which followed its political domination, this idea became regarded as the truth. It reduced the ancient history of India to a brutal invasion and cover up, with the perpetrators given the mantle of sages by the ignorance of later generations! Recently, however, this idea has been challenged again by a number of scholars east and west. Its opponents are becoming increasingly more numerous, raising more and more objections, showing new astronomical, archaeological, skeletal and geological evidence in favour of dismissing the theory. Meanwhile there has been no substantial evidence to support the theory apart from the uncertainty of linguistic speculation. Everything that has been proposed to support it has been found not to have really occurred or to have other causes.

For example, the Harappan cities were found to have been abandoned by climate and river changes, not destroyed by outside invaders, and the horse, thought to have been first brought by the invading Aryans has been now been found to have existed already in many Harappan sites. Contrary to the theory, the picture has emerged of an indigenous and organic development of civilization in ancient India going back to 6500 BC (the Mehargarh site in Pakistan) with no break in continuity and no significant outside invasions or migrations. Indeed it appears that in the coming years the Aryan invasion theory will soon be discarded

All over the world. Recently the monthly newspaper Hinduism Today (Dec. 1994) has come out against the Aryan Invasion Theory in its Time Line edition. Hinduism Today is largest circulating Hindu monthly in the world. Hinduism Today is published in the United States, though distributed world wide, including in India. In defence of the theory, however, people point to the fact that it is still found in textbooks throughout the world, including in India, so that such new data against it does not appear to have been accepted. Opponents of the theory have claimed that much of the data disproving it is new and has not yet had time to reach textbooks, which usually represent information some decades old. Yet now the demise of the Aryan invasion theory is entering into the textbooks. It is strange to see, however, that the first major university textbook to seriously question the theory has not come from India but from the West. In his recent edition of Survey of Hinduism (Sunny, State University of New York Press 1994), Professor Klaus Klostermaier has noted important objections to this theory. He suggests that the weight of evidence is against it and that it should no longer be regarded as the main model of interpreting ancient India. Survey of Hinduism is perhaps the main textbook used in North America for university courses on the study of Hinduism. Klostermaier is not a Hindu, in fact he is a Catholic priest. He is not speaking relative to any Hindu agenda but as a scholar and academician. Though as a teacher of Hinduism he appears to have some sympathy with the tradition, he cannot be regarded as promoting Hinduism. He is critical of Hindu beliefs and practices in different parts of his book. But the Aryan Invasion Theory is something he questions on the evidence. He states (pg.34): "Both the spatial and the temporal extent of the Indus civilization has expanded dramatically on the basis of new excavations and the dating of the Vedic age as well as the theory of an Aryan invasion of India has been shaken. We are required to completely reconsider not only certain aspects of Vedic India, but the entire relationship between Indus civilization and Vedic culture." Later he adds (pg.38): "The certainty seems to be growing that the Indus civilization was carried by the Vedic Indians, who were not invaders from Southern Russia but indigenous for an unknown period of time in the lower Central Himalayan regions." He questions the difference proposed between Vedic and Indus culture and shows a continuity or possibility of identity between the two. He mentions the data on the Sarasvati River, which according to scientific studies dried up around 1900 BC. As the Sarasvati is the main river of the Vedas, he states (pg.36): "If, As Arise ARJUNA - Hinduism and the Modern World by David Frawley

Muller suggested, the Aryan invasion took place around 1500 BC, it does not make much sense to locate villages along the banks of the by then dried up Sarasvati." He notes skeletal information that shows a continuity of the same racial and ethnic groups in ancient India as today, thus refuting the idea that India was populated by an outside race in the ancient period. He notes the discovery of the ancient city of Dwaraka in Gujarat, the reputed city of Krishna, and its date to 1500 BC. He notes astronomical evidence in Vedic texts that suggest early calendars contemporaneous with the Indus era. He has been most influenced by the work of Subhash Kak and quotes him in several places, including Kak's decoding of what he calls "the astronomical code of the Vedas." He also mentions from my work on the subject, as presented in my book Gods, Sages and Kings: Vedic Secrets of Ancient Civilization. He quote one long passage of Kak (pg.38): by the middle of the fourth millennium BCE the Indo-European and the Dravidian words had already interacted and met across Northwest India and the plateau of Iran....The Indo-European world at this time must already have stretched from Europe to North India and just below it lay the Dravidian people. The interaction for centuries between these two powerful peoples gave rise to the Vedic language, which though structurally Indo-European, was greatly influenced by the Dravidian language. The Vedic civilization of these two peoples as was the Harappan civilization. These arguments represent the new data coming from various archaeologists and Vedic scholars. They do not come from Klostermaier, but clearly they are strong enough to produce a case that ever Western academicians now have to listen to. They have caused Klostermaier to question the whole Western reading of the Vedas, "We can be certain that these first efforts to get away from a historicist- humanistic Western reading of the Vedas will be followed by more detailed analyses and probably quite startling discovers about the character and content of Vedic civilization. (pg. 38)" The same arguments have been raised in India by many writers, archaeologists, scientists and spiritual leaders, but still have not yet entered into the textbooks. Now the question arises, if textbooks in the West can be changed in regard to the Aryan Invasion Theory, why cannot textbooks in India be changed, particularly as the theory has frequently been used to discredit the culture of India and the Hindu religion? We would expect that textbooks in India would be the first to change on this matter and not have to follow those in the West. Surely if new data arose in a Western country and literature, the entire country would be quick to proclaim the new information. Unfortunately India does not appear to want to acknowledge its past, particularly if it gives credence to its spiritual tradition which a number of groups oppose. The Aryan Invasion Theory has become a matter of political importance in the country, and politics is always willing to twist things for its electoral needs. The British rulers of colonial India, Marxists scholars and politicians, Dravidian nationalists, Caste Reform advocates of various types, Christian missionaries and Muslim groups have used the invasion theory to discredit or divide Hindu culture, particularly to attack its Brahmanical side. Even today one can se"Brahmins go home (to Central Asia)," painted on walls as political propaganda in south India. Dravidians, the lower castes, and Muslims have all at times identified themselves with the pre-Aryan indigenous people of India whom the invading Aryans were supposed to have conquered and enslaved. Clearly several groups have part of their identity invested in the invasion theory that would be disconcerting to lose. On the other hand, many of the founders of the Indian independence movement like Tilak and Aurobindo wrote against the theory. It appeared important to them in restoring Indian identity to re establish the credibility of ancient Indian civilization and its continuity. Yet whatever one's social views, history should not be subject to them but should be examined according to the facts. Now the facts severely question the Aryan Invasion Theory, so that it should no longer be portrayed as the truth. The events in a country today should not be made hostage to its history of over four thousand years ago, whatever it might have been. Only in India does this occur. Yet India must now look at its ancient history anew, in the light of the collapse of the invasion theory. A greater continuity to Indian civilization is revealed that hopefully can bring more wholeness to the country. If the Aryan Invasion Theory is not true it means that India is the oldest most continuous civilization in the world, with the oldest and most extensive literature (the Vedas), and is therefore one of the great centres of world civilization rivalling those of Egypt and Babylonia. It is a heritage to be proud of; however one may wish to interpret it.

Respected Hari Anna,

I am in regular touch with Guruji. My daughter who is an autistic child is now eleven years old and has been under constant medical attention since her birth. I used cry silently at my fate till I met Guruji through you and in the past six months there has been dramatic improvement and even the special school which attends is impressed with her progress and she is now actively participating in school activities. Guruji has been like God to me who has brought hope back into my life. Guruji says she would become perfectly normal in a year and can go to a regular school. I am looking forward to that day. I must thank you too for taking personal interest in each problems of mine and helping me. May goddess Parashakti give you more energy and powers to help the mankind.

Bhuvana Harishankar

Dear Hari,

Hope all are fine at your end. We are all fine. I had been to Guruji's house to introduce one Mr. & Mrs. S.K. Natarajan ( 80 yrs ) suffering from wheezing and diabetes. They felt very happy. I used to make a visit to their house every week ( they are my ex neighbours, my daughter's pet thatha and patty, she loves them so much and they too like that). They have only one son and he is in Bangalore. So only we are their near and dear here, close by. So, I make it a point to visit them every Saturday most probably after going to Pillayar temple and keeping ellu vilakku for SANI BHAGWAN. Mama has assured them that it will be corrected within 45 days time.

His breathing capability has increased today itself by 10% from what it was (37%).

Guruji has asked them to give feedback after 4 days.

Regards,

Radha Ram
